With an entrepreneurial background and artistry mindset, in 1987 Bobby Anderson Sr. took on the colorful world of both residential and commercial painting. Through hard work, sacrifice, and dedication, he built a brand that has lasted over 25 years.

 

The story of Bj's Painting Company, Inc. is both unique and personal. Named after his firstborn son, Bobby Anderson Jr. (BJ), the founder wanted to leave a legacy that would paint a story of resiliency for generations to come. Initially, Bobby Anderson, Sr. started his career at the University of Georgia Paint Department. With mentors, business leaders, and his loving wife cheering him on, he took a chance on his passion. With a dream of being an entrepreneur like his father and his father before him, Bobby Anderson Sr. or BJ, as he is informally called, purchased his first painting vehicle. Not knowing where he was headed, he pursued his passion every day with the single stroke of a paintbrush. Now, 4 vans later and a painting staff, the brand can be seen on highways all across the state of Georgia.

 

Bobby Anderson Sr. believes that the cornerstone of his business is embodied within the exemplary services that he provides. He often states that professional relationships are key; thus, no matter where you see him, you'll always find him educating clients on their home and/or business developments. He considers the clients he meet "family." Dressed in all white, Bobby Anderson Sr. can always be found doing what he loves with a smile - and a joke here and there. His humor and contagious spirit illuminate the painting experience, causing clients to come back each and every time.
